The Cobra V2 (From 2014 to 2016)
This is pretty much the same overall design as the latest v3 but not quite as adjustable as the pedals were fixed in place and the wheel had very limited movement.
The console fitted behind the screen with the sub woofer below.
Although they look almost the same many parts are not interchangeable between the v2 and v3.
Anyone with a v2 wishing to buy extra parts such as a gear shift, speaker brackets or triple screen mount etc please email me and these can be made to order for you.
The Cobra V1 (From 2011 to 2014)
These really looked great but were extremely heavy and a bit too impractical for many users.
The floor was made of Aluminium Tread Plate and the overall size was just under 2 metres long!
Despite the cockpit being quite big the rear section behind the seat did tend to limit space for taller drivers.
Speakers were the old Logitech x550 which are no longer available. The PS3 or (SFF PC) fitted behind the seat above the sub woofer.
I’m currently thinking of building this model again.
If I do they will be slightly longer and have enough room for z906 speakers and a proper gaming PC.
Added room behind the seat would make it better for taller drivers.
